My stay at the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront was mostly enjoyable, with a couple of hiccups. The staff were fantastic, treating me like royalty, and I really liked the convenient location near the Xcel Energy Center. However, the elevators were super slow, which was a bit frustrating at times. Overall, I would come back, especially for the delicious room service options and the comfort of the rooms.

Room service was a highlight, particularly the French toast, which was delicious! The on-site restaurant was a bit pricey, though.

The amenities were solid, with a spacious gym and responsive service through text messaging for any issues I had. Just a couple of maintenance problems came up, but they were quickly resolved.

7.4/10

My stay at the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront had its ups and downs. While I enjoyed the stunning view of the Mississippi River and the spacious accommodations, I experienced some cleanliness issues that overshadowed the positives. The breakfast options were also disappointing, with several items served at room temperature, which left me wanting more. Overall, the staff were friendly and willing to help, but I feel the hotel needs to focus on maintaining its standards.

I had a corner suite with a beautiful view, but the housekeeping left much to be desired as garbage and dirty glasses remained in the room throughout my stay. This was disappointing given the hotel's reputation.

I was disappointed with the breakfast buffet as many dishes were cold and lacked flavor. I'd recommend ordering from the menu instead, or going elsewhere for a bite.

My stay at the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront had a mix of positives and negatives. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of my room was disappointing, and I encountered some maintenance issues. The location along the river is excellent, and the hotel offers good dining options, but the facilities need attention to detail to enhance the guest experience.

Rooms

The bedding was luxurious and the view of the Mississippi River was splendid, yet the cleanliness was a significant issue. I found dirt that went uncleaned throughout my stay, which really affected my comfort.
Service
8.0
Staff members were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist me, even when issues arose. However, I experienced delays in getting help when I needed something, which detracted from my overall experience.
Location
8.0
The hotel boasts a beautiful location near the Mississippi River and is conveniently situated close to attractions like the Xcel Energy Center; however, it felt a little out of the way from some parts of downtown.
Dining

I enjoyed the meals at the hotel restaurant, as the food was well-presented and tasty. While it met my expectations, I would say the dining experience could benefit from more variety.

The hotel has various amenities, but with multiple elevators out of service, navigating the building became frustrating. It seems there are maintenance issues that really need to be addressed for a smoother experience.

7.0/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay. While I enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooms, I experienced frustrating service at check-in and some delays with room service. The dining options were a highlight, with tasty meals at the hotel restaurant, but the overall experience was dampened by the issues with staff professionalism.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and comfortable with nice amenities like bathrobes and a mini bar. However, I wondered about the cleanliness, as a glass I left on the bedside table stayed there for two days.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff was a letdown. The manager was rude during check-in and seemed dismissive of my team's needs after traveling long hours. This behavior really stood out in contrast to the otherwise friendly staff I encountered later.
Location
6.0
The hotel's central location was convenient, but it's not the best area for dining options at night since many places were closed. It would have been nice to have better choices nearby.
Dining
8.0
Dining at the Citizen restaurant was great. I enjoyed excellent fish tacos, and I heard positive remarks about other dishes too, though my breakfast room service was disappointing and late.
Facilities
6.0
The gym was spacious and well-equipped, which I appreciated. However, the parking situation is tricky, with a narrow ramp that made me nervous, especially if trying to park after a few drinks.

My stay at the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront had its ups and downs. The prime location by the Mississippi River gave me gorgeous views, and the dining options were solid. However, my room was a bit too noisy, and the bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired. Overall, the experience was mixed but nice.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable with a great view, but the cleanliness was questionable. There was dust around the furniture and a strange smell in the bathroom that really dampened the vibe.
Service
5.0
I encountered some helpful staff, but the front desk service was disappointing, especially when I needed assistance with room service. It felt like they were not up to the hotel's luxury standards.
Location
9.0
The location on the riverfront is perfect for sightseeing and events, like the concert I attended at the nearby Xcel Energy Center, making it super convenient.
Dining
7.0
The food at the hotel restaurant was varied and enjoyable, though I found the breakfast service to be a bit slow and some options less appealing. The atmosphere was nice, just a little too bright for my taste.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has a decent fitness center and several amenities, but there were issues with room service and the parking situation. Valet was quick, but self-parking options were not clearly explained.
